Hebridean Symphony ~ Bantock

Grandville Bantock's A Hebridean Symphony is Inspired by the Hebrides Islands and environment off the Western coast of Scotland. Some 500 austere pieces of land sacttered throughout the North Atlantic. The Hebridean Symphony, composed in 1913, is a vast 35-minute tone-poem which in a single continuous movement depicts Hebridean seascape, epic sea-battles, questing love and yearning nostalgia, all ending in a bardic "Song of Victory".
